Transition Bonus

We know switching to a new company can be difficult and create some financial uncertainty. That’s why we are now offering a $5,000 transition bonus for experienced OTR drivers. You’ll get $1,500 after you haul your first load, then another $1,500 after three months, and a final $2,000 after six months. see below for more details about Nussbaum.

Pay Details

  • $5,000 Transition Bonus
  • Earn $73,000 – $80,000 gross / year
    • Top earners can make $90K+ / year
  • $1,400 – $1,700 gross / week
    • $1,400 weekly minimum guaranteed
  • $0.54 per mile
  • Plus Activity Pay (value of $0.08-$0.12+ per mile!)
    • $30 for load pick up
    • $30 for delivery
    • $70 for tarping
      (That’s a total $130 activity pay for a typical tarped load!)
    • $40 per event for Brandt Step Deck Loads
  • Paid Orientation at Nussbaum Headquarters
    • We cover transportation, private hotel room, and on-duty meals
    • Company car provided during orientation
    • Earn $150 per day

Additional Pay

  • Detention – $15/hour after only 1 hour
  • Door-to-Door Practical Miles –  Paying both loaded and empty
  • Stop-off  Pay – $30 per stop in excess of 1st pick-up and final delivery
  • Oversize Pay – $0.03/mile bonus + $20 per load
  • Paid Parking – All paid/reserved truck parking is reimbursed
