Drive Nussbaum

  • Home Weekly – on average, OTR drivers in our primary areas only miss 3 weekends per year.
  • Full Benefits Package // Insurance: health, vision, dental, life, & disability // 401(k) match // PTO & paid holidays // Rider program & pet policy.
  • $5,000 Transition Bonus
    • $1,500 paid after your first week, $1,500 after 3 months, and a final $2,000 after 6 months.
  • Must have valid CDL-A, 21 years old, meet all Nussbaum safety requirements.

First-Year Pay Figures (by experience): 

  • 6mos – 2yrs Experience: $1,550-$1,650 avg. per week, $1,300 weekly minimum guarantee, $0.51/mile starting rate.
  • 2-5yrs Experience: $1,575-$1,675 avg. per week, $1,300 weekly minimum guarantee, $0.52/mile starting rate.
  • 5+yrs Experience: $1,625-$1,725 avg.  per week, $1,350 weekly minimum guarantee, $0.54/mile starting rate.
  • Activity Pay (all drivers): Layover ($250-$270 per day), Detention ($20/hr after first hour), Stop-offs ($20 per event in excess of first/final), Trailer Relays ($12 per event).
  • Stop & double check – do you live in Chicago, Indianapolis, the Quad Cities IL/IA, Des Moines, or Toledo? If so, add $100 to your minimum guarantee and +$0.05/mile to your starting rate with our Key Locations Bonus.
