Job Description
Main responsibilities
- Main point of contact for Geotab and log/HOS situations
- Assist drivers with issues when they call
- Go through log violations regularly
- Talk with drivers about log violations and what to do next
- Inform Safety Team of constant violators so further coaching and development can take place
- Maintenance events reporting
- Drivers submit reports on trailers that they repair – be the main contact for updating and adding points to their Scorecard
- Administration of Nussbaum’s Certified RED program
- Co-administer this program with current individuals
- Help drivers sign up
- Call new hires to check with them on signing up
- Inform drivers on what they need to do and when it needs to be done by
- Back up Safety Team on phone calls to ensure questions are answered
Secondary/Backup duties (time permitting)
- Understand how to take incident/accident calls
- Knowledgeable of the safety practices that go on
- Driver DQ files
- Orientation
- Violations
- Scorecard (admin and driver coaching aspects)
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate professionally over the phone
- Answer phone calls while multi-tasking
- Use technology and learn software specific to Nussbaum (example: Geotab)
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge and growth in FMCSA standards for HOS compliance
- Ability to work in a team setting and able to work well with others
