Job Description

  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Screen and hire professional driver candidates
      • Conduct interviews (phone and in-person) with prospective drivers. Review the driving positions we have open and close on applicants eligible for hire.
      • Process background employment information and review safety-sensitive incidents or regulatory reports. Ensure risk-qualified, job-fit driver hires.
      • Check that candidate applications are complete and accurate.
      • Engage our Hiring Database to process new leads and applications. Make inside sales outbound calls to candidates within our database.
  • Secondary Responsibilities
    • Concierge assistance
      • Once a driver is hired, assist with scheduling and orientation arrangements.
      • Provide occasional secondary help with existing drivers needing a ride/rental/hotel set up.
    • Orientation assistance
      • Help ensure orientation runs smoothly and that your hires have proper instruction for new hire classes.

Job Requirements

  • Sales-related skills to close on a strong prospect
  • Effectively handle incoming phone calls and incoming lead forms
  • Ability to consistently make outbound phone calls of considerable volume
  • Can articulate information to represent the job to a candidate accurately
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to work in software such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work in a team setting and work with the other recruiters/safety staff
