No matter where we are, on the road or at home, life has its victories and its storms. Moments we’ll never forget, and moments we wish to forget. Through it all, we are purpose driven. That means we do more than show up. We put people and family first. We lead with faith and integrity. We own our actions, and we strive to positively impact every person we meet. Because at the end of the day, we recognize that each moment and every encounter is a God-given gift.

Driven by a passion for greatness and breaking boundaries.

Trucking was never something I ever imagined I would do. I wanted to follow in my mother’s footsteps and become a nurse or midwife. But I love to wake up in a new state every morning. I enjoy the window down, music up, and watching the scenery change as I pass mile marker after mile marker.

To be purpose-driven, my passion for this job, my passion for the Lord, and most importantly, his passion for me, needs to spill out to everything and everyone around me to make myself less and make Him greater.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to his faith and his family.

At some point in every little boy’s life, he thinks he wants to be a truck driver. And I didn’t want to spend the last 10-15 years of my working years doing what I was doing – I wanted something different, and so I found myself getting my CDL.

Within the first minute of the conversation with Nussbaum, Tianne said, ‘We are a faith-based company. That doesn’t mean you have to have faith to work here, but we want everyone to know upfront; that’s how we operate.’ And I thought resolutely, ‘God is leading me here.’

Driven by discovery, adventure and an opportunity to earn more.

I’ve been attracted to big rigs since I was little, and I knew I would make a career out of it when I was seven years old, and my dad rented a 24-foot Ryder box truck. My mom would “love” it when we’d put ketchup packets under the steer tires and run over them, so they’d explode all over her vehicle. But really, I started trucking when I was 21 and am currently sitting at 930,000+ logged miles. I love to fly and see places and will visit my 50th state in 2020.

I take the utmost pride and professionalism in what I do, and I’m striving for tons of success. And with a good attitude, everything out here becomes easy.

Driven by determination and freedom.

Besides the United States Marine Corps., being an employee-owner at Nussbaum is unequivocally the best job I’ve had. I have ownership. I’m a part of something bigger than myself. Everyone supports me to succeed and truly cares. That is something to be proud of.

Driven by a desire to set a higher standard.

I really love to drive, drive, drive, and drive some more. Laying miles down, seeing nature and the countryside, and glimpsing cool trucks, cars, and buildings – that keeps me on the road. I’ve been blessed to drive a Nussbaum truck, and I give it my all. I think that’s what counts.
